Summer Day Trips - Dating myself

While I was visiting DC on our 6th grade field trip I had many thoughts and ideas.  (see Holocaust Museum) I was with my team and my friend, Smiley, was there as well. I felt put out while around  Smiley and his other teammates and I didn't like this reaction in myself. It made me feel more resolved to once again strengthen my relationship within myself. I am a good person. I have good ideas. I am intelligent, kind, and have a way with people.  I am good company. I need to enjoy it! One of the things I wanted to do with Smiley was to get a Bubble Tea. He has been raving about them, and in the city they are much easier to find. He and his team backed out on our Holocaust visit, and I felt disappointed. He got his tea with others. I got mine alone. Alone. I left my group as we were heading back to the bus. I got directions from Smiley, but had to navigate myself through the vague unknown. I did it. I am MORE than capable on my own. I live so close to many great place...
